Policies and Shipping


We stand behind everything we sell. We want you to be happy with the items you purchase from Campus Bicycle. We have the following return policy that applies to in-store and web purchases:
Receipt is required for all returns or exchanges. Parts, accessories and clothing can be returned within 30 days if unused and in original unopened packaging. No returns or exchanges on bicycles, deposits, special orders, closeouts or labor. Repair work is warranted for 30 days.

SHIPPING (Continental U.S.)

Standard shipping for orders over $100 to the continental US (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) is FREE.

Orders under $100 to the continental US (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) standard shipping is $9.99.

There is no shipping charge for orders picked up in our store.

Note: Orders usually ship within one business day of being placed.
Items in stock at warehouse may take an additional 1-5 days to ship. Orders where the billing and shipping address vary may be delayed or cancelled. If you need an item by a specific date please contact us before placing your order to be sure it will arrive on time.

Please note that some items may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges because of size or weight.

Sorry, but we do not ship outside of the Continental U.S.


*Most orders will be ready within one business day. I Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 15 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.


We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.

We sometimes use other companies (third-party service providers) to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders and delivering packages. They need access to some personal information in order to perform their duties but may not use this information for other purposes.


Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on the original order.


If there’s a problem with something you purchased from us, you can either bring it to our store or ship it back. Parts, accessories and clothing can be returned within 30 days of purchase if unused and in original unopened package. Clothing must have all tags attached. There is no returns or exchanges on bicycles. Ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). You are responsible to pay for the return shipping unless the item is determined to be damaged or defective when you receive it. We will refund shipping costs on damaged or defective merchandise. Merchandise returned that appears used will not be refunded. (Labor fees are not refundable, i.e., custom built wheels.)

Returns over $100 must have a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package or the item will be refused. A return authorization number can be obtained by phone or email.


Our website is intended to help you. We make every effort to maintain current, accurate prices in our online catalog. And we strive for similar accuracy and timeliness with the other information we offer here. We appreciate your understanding should any of the prices or other information provided be incorrect and regret any inconvenience such mistakes may create. New bicycles purchased from Campus Bicycle have the following service and parts warranty for the original owner:

Regular tune-ups and normal adjustments are covered for one year from the date of purchase to the original owner.

All original parts, frame and fork are covered by the stated warranty of the original manufacturer. Please read your owner’s manual or visit the manufacturer’s website for more information on their warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (examples include, but not limited to tires, tubes, brake pads,  chains, etc.)
  • Improper follow-up maintenance.
  • Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse or neglect.
  • Labor to replace parts.
  • Bent or rusty parts.
  • Installation of parts not originally included with the bicycle.
  • Cleaning of bicycles, parts or components.
  • Accessories.

This warranty is void in its entirety by any modifications of the frame, fork or components. This warranty extends from the date of purchase, applies only to the original owner, and is not transferable. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty or service claims.
